 This picture hangs on my wall as a constant reminder of my duty to keep the women in my life heads held high! Too often I believe we take the notion of women wanting equality a little bit too far. As men we still remain the protectors and providers of our families. That is a power that SHALL NOT be abused! Over the last two years I've come across a few light shedding stories. We often think it's as easy as "leave" for women to get out of bad situations! I've learned a lot otherwise. We put a lot on the woman for being "dumb" to stick around. Yet, we don't often chastise the men for not moving around! This picture has a deeper meaning to me each day. Love your women, protect your women and make sure your women feel safe around you as well as comfortable to confide in you!  In remembrance of the great Dr. King, I alongside Scottie LB present you all with our record, 'Pray For Me'. While this country has come a long ways in race relations in some ways, we must still fight the fight that MLK and MANY others fought before us. To this day people of all races but specifically speaking of POC are still treated unjust. Our men still are targets, our women still walked over, and our children still left behind. We as a people must first help ourselves before looking for a hand, and not seek approval and acceptance, yet, instead demand our respect! It starts at 'home' as Scottie proclaims on the ending of his verse! I hope you all enjoy the message, share the song and most importantly do your part in help shaping a better future!

Trying to remain dedicated to lifestyle changes that I’m sure will place me where I need to be in life, my life in particular! The reason I dubbed this year 20i8 is pretty obvious… IT’S ALL ABOUT SELF. Self fulfillment.
Plenty of years have passed me by knowing my full potential, yet never fulfilling it! Never committing to myself enough. Involuntary actions from my heart always seem to lead me to place others ahead of myself when it comes to ‘need’. I truly can’t, or should I say couldn’t, help it! Reading a lot of books this past year has stuffed my brain with more tools than I could possibly hope for. Most of them have also confirmed a lot of my deepest character traits and behaviors to be equivalent of those seen in high positions/status in society. With that being said, I have chosen to focus on me! Nourish the seeds I was born with and blossom into the chosen one God placed me on Earth to be. It’s not about turning the calendar this morning and cutting off bad seeds and saying fuck this person and that person…I do that every other month! For me, it’s about focus, focus on myself!
